From the moment I arrived, the staff were fantastic — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which really set the tone for a relaxing visit. The hotel itself was very clean and felt safe throughout, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities were a great bonus and added to the overall comfort of the stay. With the heatwave during my visit, I was also grateful for the number of fans provided in the room — it made a big difference and showed the hotel’s attention to guests’ comfort. "Located about 20 minutes walk from the event I was attending at The Flapper pub. Also, only 20 minutes walk from New Street station coupled with the cost made this an ideal place to stay. If you are attending the O2 Academy then this would be a fantastic location."

"I stay in chain hotels regularly and suffer the average to un-interesting food all the time. Not so at Park Hall Hotel. The food was really tasty, the people were great and the room was a refreshing step up from anodyne chain hotel blandness. "

"I enjoyed an excellent 2-night stay at the HGI. The high point was the attitude of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. On the second day, the chair in my room kept slipping making the use of my computer nigh on impossible when I needed to be able to use it. Thomas, one of the duty staff on the front desk, sent a maintenance guy to my room with a replacement chair within 15 minutes. Job done. On the same day reasonable accommodation was made by the restaurant staff in the evening to allow me a different table in the restaurant rather then the bar to cater for my arthritis because the original seat was too low and I feared not being able to get up. No debate. No pack drill. They just did it for me. The meal was very good! The only slightly disappointing feature was the breakfast, which was mass produced, which is understandable given the likely number of guests. It was certainly edible but not as appetising as it might have been. However, this does not detract from a really enjoyable staff. I had stayed there previously and will certainly stay there again. "
