"Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot. "

"What was unique about the property?? Pretty much everything! Loved the overall decor and vibe. It felt very much like home and I had the sense of the house being very much a sanctuary from the outside world. The staff were incredibly friendly, fun and helpful, to say nothing of the great breakfasts, that everyone raves about (quite rightly!). We loved everything about our stay and will be back!"

"We had the best stay here. Very personalized service and great food cooked to order. Huge bathtub and super comfy beds. If you are ghost hunters you should definitely come to this 17th century guest house where we heard a disembodied voice greet us hello and then ‘farewell’ when leaving!!
