"A great 1 night stay. From the first welcome, an excellent room, a good nights slerp and a great breakfast not sure what else to add. Be aware though that traffic noise in our room may annoy some people, luckily not us but ear plugs were provided if needed."

"Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot. "We had the best stay here. Very personalized service and great food cooked to order. Huge bathtub and super comfy beds. If you are ghost hunters you should definitely come to this 17th century guest house where we heard a disembodied voice greet us hello and then ‘farewell’ when leaving!! Altogether a wonderful experience. Lots of character and a super sweet dog. The building is very old and hence the walls and floors are crooked which adds to the character and highlights just how old and...
