"The staff are excellent, friendly and extremely helpful. We had a Japanese style room which was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was a set Japanese menu which changed each day. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The onsen was relaxing and there is a great view of Mount Fuji from the observation deck, cloud permitting!"

"From the moment I was picked up by their private shuttle, I felt very taken care of! I’m a solo traveler & this location & ryokan experience was exactly what I was looking for! The Japanese style room was clean, comfortable & quiet, & I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the lake view! The traditional ryokan breakfast & dinner were delicious & plentiful! They do remind you several times before arrival that this is a set menu, & there are no substitutions, so if you have any food allergies or certain dietary requirements, this may not be the proper place for you. Also, if you have a tattoo, you will need to book a private onsen time. I appreciated that the staff are wonderfully courteous & welcoming, & I do appreciate their policy of keeping track of every guest when one leaves the premises for an outing by turning in room key, then picking it back up when returning. The location is wonderful if you would like to be away from much of the tourist traffic. My dream of a clear day & view Mt.Fuji from atop their premises was magical!
