"My room was on the ground floor right next to the entrance and a lounge which I think was for the staff. It was very noisy! The tv was on and someone was talking loudly on their phone - I needed an early night as I wasn’t feeling well. That didn’t happen. As a woman travelling alone I was not comfortable with a ground floor room close to the entrance - I would have liked to open the window, but did not feel secure enough. "Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. "
