"The staff were very friendly and helpful, my room was very nice and clean, parking on site was a bonus, tried the breakfast off there menu which was excellent value for money, would stay there again"

"There’s good and not quite as good aspects..Lovely sized room and bathroom with fantastic outlook, but smelt a bit damp almost like wet carpet that hadn’t dried properly. Very spacious bathroom with bath and shower, but a sensor turns on the lights so in the middle of the night if you visit the bathroom the whole bathroom lights up like a summers day. Bed really comfy and unusually firm pillows, perfect for me. And Alexa in the bedroom is a nice touch. Really peaceful (until the geese start 😁)...

"Great stopover near M1 really decent food and drink good breakfast overall good experience only downside could hear upstairs flat when he came in and got up for early morning jog maybe blackout blinds for window and door glass other than that all good would definitely use again staff all very friendly and pleasant"

"Pub is old, so it has a care worn look as you would expect. Room itself was really clean, shower was hot, facilities good and all in working order. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good value. No complaints."

"Some fittings / furnishings need fixing. Very creaky flooring throughout.
The only ‘blight’ of the otherwise excellent breakfast was the salty ‘processed bread’ - ‘brown’ isn’t the same as ‘granary’, ‘whole meal’ or ‘sourdough’!"
