"Lurdes the manager is extremely helpful and kind and made us feel right at home. The property is about a 15 minute walk to Porto's historic district and we never felt too far out, quiet and tucked away and great value. Unfortunately the washroom had a strong sewage smell, which was very bad and present each time we left the room and came back. We brought this up; however it was not addressed. Otherwise the room was very clean and didn't have many other issues."

"We loved this hotel. We had the room at the top and managed the four flights with ease. Loved the balcony, although tiny, as the view across the roofs, the city and the Douro were wonderful. Above all, Mari and Carla were extremely helpful, answering our questions before the stay and giving us lots of info about places to visit while we were there. "Lovely clean room which was serviced daily. Towels and soap/shower gel provided. Air con was very effective and ensured the room remained cool even when 30 degrees outside. Good location, albeit traffic was a little noisy at night. Excellent communication prior and during our stay from the hotel. Very easy to get to the main areas and a two minute walk to the metro. Vending machines to purchase refreshments and complimentary water and herbal tea in the room on arrival. Lockers to store luggage...
