"Hotel Timbre Virtudes is a classic, beautifully decorated with history and modern comfort. It's conveniently located, about 10 minutes walking distance to the Douro River front. The room is comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Timbre Virtudes and stay there next time in Porto."

"Great location and easy to get to main attractions. Clean room, decent size, comfortable bed, but was a street level room so could be a bit noisy at times. Staff were really helpful.
A few things to improve on - we asked for slippers and bathrobe and were told these were in the room but weren’t (these were brought to us quickly though), the steps to the pool were unstable so we didn’t use it and we weren’t told we had to ask to use the sauna an hour in advance so didn’t use that either.
