Durdle Door Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed for couple nights here and it was totally worth it. The views from the room were beautiful! The room was clean, hotel staff were friendly and everything is close by. We didn’t have a car so this was right place to stay since durdle door was close by and the bus drops you right across the street. We would definitely stay here again!"

The Knoll House
8/10 Good
"If you don’t pay for the hotel directly you have to pay £10 per person per day to use the pool. This adds up for a family. We went for the weekend but check in wasn’t until 4pm and so we had an hour in the pool after 4pm and check out was at 11am on the Sunday, but when we tried to pay on the Sunday we were told that the hotel was at capacity and couldn’t purchase any use of the pool. There was no use booking a hotel with a pool we couldn’t use. They allowed glass by the pool and my grandson managed to cut himself on someone’s broken glass during the one hour we were there. The pool is lovely so it was v disappointing not to use it"

Grand Hotel Swanage
10/10 Excellent
"This was a lovely relaxing overnight stay at the end of my holiday. I had a wonderful sea view from my spacious room on the top floor, which had a large fan that quietly delivered a cooling movement of air during the night. It was only a 5-minute walk to the beach for a swim. In the early evening it was lovely to sit & relax in the garden area with no pressure to buy a drink from the bar. The shower was powerful with a large head and a handy second hand held showerhead."

Castle Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was great and super friendly staff."

The Pines Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Such an amazing view that I will never tire of, watching the early morning swimmers and dog walkers at 7am from the balcony - absolute tranquility."

Lulworth Cove Inn
8/10 Good
"The room was beautiful, and very clean. We stayed in the indulgence room which had a bigger balcony. Only problem is the 4 balconies aren’t cut off from each other. We travelled with our dog so had to drag (very heavy) outside chairs to block up to next doors. Also the view was obscured by the big pub sign right outside ours. Unfortunately, the food here doesn’t match the standard of the bedrooms. Think Wetherspoons mass produced food - tasty and edible if you’re hungry, but not a gourmet experience. A lovely place to stay though. Parking close by and only minutes to the cove itself. We loved it so much we stayed a second night."

The Bear Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very relaxing stay with excellent restaurant meals..."

Purbeck House Hotel
8/10 Good
"A very quirky, interesting, historical Hotel a short stroll from all the amenities that Swanage have to offer. Friendly helpful staff from start to finish, all very knowledgeable regarding the history of the hotel. It’s obviously like the forth bridge regarding the upkeep and maintenance, but that’s expected with an old building,it adds to its charm. All areas were clean and tidy. We stayed in The Louisa Lodge accommodation, slightly away from the main house, we had a Sea view across the rooftops, the room and en-suite had everything you needed and clean. Breakfast was more than adequate not everyone wants cooked breakfast every day, it was pretty much what I would normally have for breakfast at home, if you feel the need for a full English plenty of places a very short stroll away. Great parking facilities on site. Spoke to several other guests who were returning visitors. As a couple who doesn’t mind not having all singing all dancing modern facilities I'm sure we will be returning."

Belhuish Farmhouse
8/10 Good
"Rod was a great host. The location of this B&B was excellent for our needs and I loved being among farmland. We can see and hear the sheep graze beside us. I'd stay here again if I travelled back to the area. My only challenge was that there is no air conditioning, nor did we have any fans to help us keep cool during a heat wave. It was difficult to get any sleep due to the temperature. These old houses are not built to ventilate so even if it gets cool at night, the room stayed hot."
