"This hotel was quite unique. I can’t describe the unusual setting of an Indian hotel in London. The cuisine was not my favorite. However, the breakfast was stellar. My room was absolutely amazing. The elevator was a little funky."

"You have got to be kidding! I booked this hotel for an overnight layover near Heathrow becuase it looked cute in the pictures. It's incredible. Built in 1106, it oozes history and charm. You are basically staying upstairs above a lively pub. Such great fish and chips and steak and Guiness pie! Also there is a bus line across the street that runs right into Heathrow terminal 5. That said- it is an old historical building so if you're interested in modern business stuff, it might not be for you."

"As long as you don’t mind the oft mentioned precarious stairs ( best compared to those leading to the toilets in many old London pubs- tight , and narrow - with the exception that these are carpeted and well maintained ) the place is great. Clean and air conditioned and modernized with an attentive cleaning staff and quick check in. Nice location near Farringdon tube station and not far from a few bus stops. Walking distance from Holborn Viaduct and St Brides church as well as many convenience...

"Had a great stay over the weekend. Only a few minutes walk from the tube. Staff were friendly and helpful. They are currently referbishing the rooms. Ours was a good size and well decorated. Good shower and quality toiletries. Noise is minimal considering the location. I would get new pillows as they were not great. Other than that great value."
