"Fantastic location , very helpful staff, One of the best breakfast choices I have ever had in an Hotel. This is my 3 rd time staying here and will definitely be booking again. Can highly recommend room 201 for space , comfy beds, roll top bath , separate shower. With outdoor temperatures of 36 the room air conditioning was struggling, but two tower fans were very welcome"

"The room was spacious and very comfortable and the air-conditioning was very welcome. We had a good dinner in the restaurant with an excellent bottle of wine. My only gripe would be about the bathroom. The lighting was so dim that it was hard to see to shave. The shower was not very good. There was only a rainfall outlet, not a hand-held unit, and only a single ring of nozzles worked. The temperature control was annoying, possibly a safety issue - a movement of about 1mm in either direction led to the water either being freezing cold or boiling hot."

"The staff were all helpful and friendly. The room was tired with chipped furniture, threadbare carpets and torn curtains. The bathroom was also tired, still having to climb into the bath for a shower. No toiletries only full tubes secured to the walls which could be filled with anything! Air conditioning poor especially in this hot weather. Could really do with an update especially when charging >£500 a night for 2 people. We had a meal in the evening which was average."

"I have stayed here a few times now and never been disappointed. The staff have always been happy to help, and incredibly polite and professional. The rooms are clean and a good size, the car park large and spacious, and the breakfast service a highlight. I particularly want to highlight how helpful the service staff were during breakfast; especially as I have coeliac disease and have to be very careful about what I eat and how the food is prepared. It was also a lovely surprise that the kind lady at the breakfast check-in remembered me from the previous year visit. Recommended!"
