"We stayed in the David Bowie room which was fantastically decorated as was the matching bathroom. All rooms were immaculately clean and full of character and charm. There was a great choice of breakfasts which were beautifully prepared, and presented in the lovely ArtDeco dining room. "This 500 year old pub is an absolute delight. Perfectly adapted to modern needs. I can’t remember a hotel stay where the staff were friendlier or more helpful. The accommodation, in the modernised stable block, is perfect for a comfortable stay, and both our evening meal and breakfast were of the highest quality. Strongly recommended."

"Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect. The breakfast was excellent! "

"Great B&B run by a lovely couple, perfect for an overnight stay. Delicious, generous breakfast. We did experience a little noise from the road, but ear plugs were provided & it didn't impact on our stay. Would definitely recommend and return if we were in the area. "
