"We stayed at the Red Lion for a few days as we were meeting family. The accommodation is situated at the back of the pub and is bright and clean. You can access it by walking through the pub or walking round the back. There is plenty of parking but it can get busy when the pub is open!
It’s situation means you have easy access to get to many places by road very quickly.
The staff who work there are fantastic and very helpful. We had breakfast each morning as well which was excellent! I would...

"Just like another 2 couples , we couldn’t gain access to the property as we were told it was damaged on arrival to the property .
We were left stranded and had to sleep on the street due to not being able
To afford accadation elsewhere . We spoke to a man who we think was in charge of the property and he couldn’t have gave less of a damn.
Shocking with no communication from Expedia and the property to not have yhe DECENCY to let us know !"

"Lovely and very friendly hosts. Breakfast plentiful. B&B is on the other side of the river. Short uber ride did the trick. Quiet location.
Old newspaper building so has character. The hosts have been doing it up over the years. Parts of the B&B could do with a bit of updating (eg paintwork on doors), but most importantly it's clean and spacious. Bathroom was new. Very nice breakfast area. Had a lovely short stay. "

"Excellent food, friendly staff, nicely decorated pub. Bedroom itself was a bit dark as the wallpaper was dark grey, as were the curtains etc. Also, there was a very bright security light outside which made sleep difficult. Shower screen dud not go all the way around the shower, resulting in a wet floor."
