"The outside of the hotel needs some maintenance. The hotel sign light is burnt out (giving a horror movie feel). The planters outside are empty and falling over. That being said, the room was clean and housekeeping did a very good job. We stayed for 3 nights. Everything was very quiet (other than a bit of noisy highway traffic) There is a very big bump turning into the property. Nice big parking stalls outside of the hotel though, so that was nice. Also the restaurant is closed and...

"Room was clean but small. Fridge was tiny. Front desk staff are not there 24/7. Front lobby is very tiny. No extra amenities. Double beds are not a double, they seemed smaller."

"Cute little suite. Can sleep 7 people easily. Ivan was beyond wonderful. Great host and cook. We had French toast, pancakes and crepes, all were wonderful. No charge for dog or breakfast. Wonderful spot, would love to stay again."

"We were really looking forward to the weekend staying at this property. We felt the pictures and listing of the place to be deceiving. From the photos, we thought we were getting a chalet, but when you book a queen bed room, you're staying at the motel portion. The pictures had no indication that this was a motel, and we were there for our 2 year anniversary and were disappointed when we didn't stay in what we expected. It's a nice motel overall and the restaurant is a great place to have...

"This was a Super 8 that is now converting to a Best Western. The staff was great, but the facility is not yet at Best Western standards. I would not stay here again until the operating standards are raised to the new higher BW rates."

"It is an older property, but on the Tuesday we stayed, it was quiet, clean and fine for a one night stay. Check in was easy and t.he gentleman who checked us in was polite and friendly."

The router box was hanging off its post, there was no carafe nor coffee for the coffee maker. The hot water handle had fallen apart before we got there so we couldn’t use the shower. The light in the main continued to flicker even when off . The room really could do with a paint refresh. Every time...

"Not too much to choose from in the small town of Fort MacLeod. Red Coat Inn certainly seemed the better of choices. A bit dated and a tad rundown it was clean and convenient. Office were helpful and on-site parking was free. The Fort is well worth a visit."
