"Very difficult getting luggage up awkward stairs for our room. Pay to book ground level. We were unlucky as had a view of a roof, carports and then a stormwater drain out the back. Other rooms looking over the pool looked awesome😳"

"A few missing things, no dish detergent, door and towel rails broken which we temped to fix, the tv was unwatchable due to delayed internet and pixelation and the smaller bedroom was clostriphobic and the showers were disappointing. The hot tub was a surprise and very enjoyable, location was excellent to the beach and restaurants, fabulous food. Michael's service was excellent when welcoming guests and he was very helpful."

The property and rooms are pretty old - they do not look as new as the nice photos you see here. If you have a room on the street side, you will have quite a lot of road noise and light at night so bring earplugs and an eye mask. "Lovely appointed hotel at the quiet end of The Esplanade closer to the airport. The front rooms are well appointed, but located directly above the restaurant so be prepared for noise. The nearby hospital (chopper) also adds to the noise. The staff were very helpful with luggage as there are no lifts. We felt the room was given a basic clean from the previous occupants because we were only staying one night. The floor was dirty and sticky and amenities not topped up.
