"The place was very clean with a full kitchen, comfortable bed, access to a large number of tv channels, and a nice living area. Not being particularly technologically savvy, it took some time to figure out the check in, especially since there is no check in staff. The tub sides were quite high and the shower lacked stabilizer bars, which made older folks like myself feel a bit unstable. The shower floor could get slick and result in a fall if not careful. Going up and down stairs was not bad;...

"The room smelled strongly of some type heavy cleaner/chemical! Hated that! Very small with practically no amenities! No coffee - only espresso. Good location to Blowing Rock downtown. Will not stay again!"

"This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...

"The village is beautiful. Our kids loved the pond, playground and surrounding paths for family walks. The cabin was cozy, well kept and had everything a family needs. Our stay was short but will have to do it again for an extended stay."

"This is a clean and slightly older property that is only two blocks from the center of town where all the great shops are. The staff are very courteous and helpful. We had the room that had its own private pool downstairs from the bedroom suite. There is a pump room associated with the pool and it was so loud it made falling asleep difficult. We asked if it could be turned off and that wasn’t possible, but the staff did offer us some earplugs. That they even had earplugs on hand tells you...
