"Our room was very clean. Decor is mountain cabin rustic. Bathroom was very modern. One problem. Our room had a window on the door and the outside lights were too bright for sleeping. We had to cover the window with a towel. To that effect, I will say that the outside area is very well lit and we felt secure. The grounds were a bit dirty. "This was an overall wonderful hotel in Blowing Rock. Walkable to all the shops and restaurants, yet very quiet and tranquil. The owners did a GREAT job remodeling this hotel as well. Modern bathrooms, tasteful furnishings & decor, comfortable beds, and a huge wall mounted TV. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!!!!"
