"The "Warehouse" was a unique Place. It was a large Room with Tall Ceiling and very nicely decorated. I stayed in Room#1. The location of the Gibson Warehouse was in the old downtown historic section of Staunton. Revitalized, brightly illuminated, Great resturant right underneath the Hotel part - Byers Street Bistro - great food and service. I will be stayomg there again on my next trip through."

"Electric charger and air-conditioning were key this weekend. Great location with easy walk to restaurants, entertainment and shops."

"The A/C in our room was broken…80° all night. Clearly there were A/C issues in the entire floor as the lobby on the 4th floor was hot too. Called the front desk; never offered another room. The property is very cool and historic. It was disappointing to have this issue. The rooms were beautifully decorated and well apportioned. The on site restaurant is only open for breakfast which was also frustrating."

"The hotel is well maintain and beautiful. The staff was super helpful as we arrived very early and had a cooler. They kept it inside and even froze our meats since we had to keep traveling the next day. We felt safe and happy. The elevators are a bit tricky since they all go different places such as the garage but they are well labeled, you just got to READ the signs. "Place is not welcoming by appearance or staff. My room was light at night because the curtains were of a flimsy material."

"The place was nice and clean. The property was well kept and everything seemed new and clean. The only questionable thing was the elevator. It made some weird noises and bumps going up. Also, breakfast could have had a little more variety."

"This was our second stay at this property (in a different apartment), and once again it did not disappoint. The space was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with basic cooking items, though spices were minimal. The location is a big plus—easy walking distance to downtown restaurants—and we would definitely stay here again."

"Very old and run down facility. Room was spacious but musty smelling. Breakfast consisted only of toast, muffins, and dry cereal. Cleaning staff did not appear to have a mop so person on duty used a towel and his foot to “clean” all floor tiles in lobby. I will not use this facility again and would not recommend it to others."

"I would highly, highly recommend staying at the Historic Berkeley, every attention to detail was met and was above and beyond. The luxury sheets and bedding alone was worth money for this stay. Lots of extras, including coffee in your room, water, cokes, and in the lobby there was gelato and snacks; extremely clean and a great location. Definitely will be going back for our next day soon!"
