"For a 4 star hotel it’s quite run down and old. We stayed 3 days. The amenities are nice. We had an ant problem in our room which was gross, they came and cleaned it up and sprayed a bunch of chemicals. Wouldn’t stay here again!"

The set up where the kids had a pull out couch bed, but it was actually two mattresses was a really nice set up and both the pull out bed and the main bed were extremely comfortable. "The property is really big, we drove there with a rented car from Lisbon. When you first get in, it feels intimidating, but once you find the main check-in counter, it is smooth sailing from there. "On arrival was able to check in even though early, room was upgraded to a garden view which was appreciated. The rooms are clean and well maintained, mostly quiet although someone was thumping around above us, but it wasn't annoying enough to complain. Breakfast was as expected, pleasant with an outdoor eating area, sparkling wine and usual offerings, and it was never overly busy, and they replaced items if you asked, breakfast is also on until 11am which is great.
