"The staff was not helpful as far as transfer to another room. I understand the hotel was fully booked but they insisted that we empty the room early before 12 the following day. We have stayed in many hotels, and had never experienced what the receptionist (all of them) insisted. The check in time is 3 pm and all we were asking was for us to move at 12pm since we have pre booked a tour of the city from 9-12 noon."

"Nice hotel, clean and well located on the edge of the city right beside the main train and bus stations for those wishing to use public transport, we used a hire car as we wished to explore Ypres and the surrounding WW1 museums etc at our own leisure, car parking was very easy as the hotel sits on the same site as the stations car park and is only €8 per night. "An absolutely wonderful stay. Comfortable bed, excellent shower, beautiful furnishings, lovely view of the private courtyard and an amazing breakfast. Brother's John and Michael are fabulous hosts. John welcomed us, gave us a tour of the B&B, explained its stained glass history and gave us a map he marked sights to see on.
