Great stay with my daughter and grandson. The staff were very friendly and kind. Caroline brought swim trunks from her home so my grandson could take a quick dip in the coastal waters. Had two evening meals and breakfast each of our three mornings. Food was excellent. Looking forward to returning with my wife in the near future.

We are fans of Hope Street so we're excited to stay here. The town centre is minutes away and the hotel faces the harbour. We were in room 1 on the second floor. It was beautiful, large and had wonderful views of the harbour just across the street. Staff were extremely friendly and breakfast and dinner very good

Warm friendly welcome. Helpful staff Food was excellent we had breakfasts (wonderful choices) and a couple of evening meals. The quality was first class. Accommodation was spot on with daily cleaning and clean towels etc. Also a very communal friendly atmosphere in the bar day and night.

Birthday treat

We had a lovely stay place was lovely and clean. The only negative thing i would say is very warm in the room when we opened the window we heard all the outside noises so had to keep it closed. The breakfast was amzing amd all staff very friendly

We r fans of the BBC series Hope Street and Pier 36 or the Commodore Pub ad it is known on Hope Street is where a lot of the action takes place. It is wondetful We have a lovely room overlooking the harbour. We are. Just off the main street and there are a lot of shops, pubs, etc.

Hotel overlooking harbour.

First time staying in Pier 36. Been for meals in the past. Loved it. Staff so friendly and food excellent. Good choice for breakfast.We had a sea facing room which was a bonus. Being a smaller Guest house you need to be aware there is no lift but at check in staff offered and carried luggage to room. Have rebooked to stay in a couple of months time. Excellent venue to tour Ards peninsula are. Owner was present in the bar/restaurant and chatted to guests ensuring all was fine.

Didn't actually stay. Hotels.com showed me it was 27 miles from where I wanted to be the next day, with one room left. I booked in good faith, (it was for the next night) only to find it was the other side of the Irish sea. The Hotel wouldn't cancel, but said they would if Hotels.com released the date. They (hotels) said they couldn't w/o the hotel's say so and said they wouldn't.I doubt I will use Hotels.com again

My first impression was it was a bar/restaurant....it was very noisy... indeed there were guests who created excessive noise as if drunk... this was at 1-30 am till approximately 2-30 am . The floors creaked as if needing maintenance which did not help. It gave me the distinct impression there was no night staff

Lovely stay

Well equipped house with everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and clean. Location was fantastic as it is right beside restaurants and a lovey park that my kids enjoyed. You can park for free directly outside the house. Shower could do with a bleach around the joints but other than that no faults.

Amazing room

We were upgraded because of complications.The room was amazing,lots of space,huge bathroom and even a bar fridge.Beautiful view and lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

All great but bed as hard as rock couldn’t sleep

Great service, lovely spot but food very expensive and bed was as hard as rock. I hardly slept at all.
