"Came for two nights and the room we were first in was clean but very tired and the TV didn’t work but we arrived late so were grateful for somewhere to rest our heads. We were moved to a different room for our next night and the A/C was broken but we had a working TV. I’m not sure we would stay here again but couldn’t fault the staff. The decor and amenities just need a bit of a sort out."

"The room was spacious and the bed was more than a double, greatly appreciated. The shower, although in the bath, was powerful and the water temperature easily controlled. The TV wasn't huge but a taller guest might knock their head on it as it was on the wall just where I walked round the bed from my side. Staff were friendly and amenable. Breakfast was tasty."

"The reception staff were excellent, Restaurant staff sadly were absolutely not! I had to leave my table and go to reception to get attention. Sadly the service didn’t get better after my complaint, and I left without pudding or a drink to go to my room with. Biggest issue was the fact there was no hot water at night and only a few second of hot water in the morning. In fact another guest was complaining about this issue too. The maintenance checked the water temperature agreed it was cold! I...

"There was hair in the bath so I couldn’t have a shower but my partner still had a shower and then we checked out around 3 instead of the actual time which was 11 the stafff was amazing very welcoming I would like to come again but I hope the room will be more clean when visiting as I did enjoy the pool and the garden "

"Hotel guest parking at the rear through barrier (though barrier was up when I arrived and up when I left. Entrance to reception also at rear. Fuss free check in, first floor room in typical Greene King style. Reasonably clean and tidy with everything set out for single guest (only 2 pillows, 2 tea bags, 2 milk sachets....) Tiny bathroom, good job heating was off or using the toilet could have led to burnt leg. Surprisingly quiet during the night right up to 6am when all the early birds were...
