"Pine Grove Resort was a wonderful resort. The location and water views were perfect. The pool was a great way to end the days and had a beautiful view of the lake. "When we checked in we were told they were short staffed and would clean our room after the 3rd night. Our room was never cleaned during our 6 night stay. We had to take out our own trash and repeatedly had to ask for fresh supplies.
The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, was frequently out of stock, and there was no fresh fruit.
The pool water was freezing and unusable.

"I was very disappointed in the size of the room. It was extremely small and had no place to put any clothes or belongings. They had 2 hooks on the wall and one was so high up we could not use it. Luckily my husband left his shirts on the hangers so we could at least hang those up but there was no other dresser or place to unpack anything. You have to leave everything in the suitcase and take out as needed. Breakfast only consisted of muffins and donuts, nothing more. The only good part of this...

"What I liked was the location of the Hotel, it's proximity to excellent eateries and the views of Sturgeon Bay! The room was very clean and comfy. When we checked in there was staff available, but often as we'd come and go from our hotel, we wouldn't see anyone at the front desk or anywhere that we could have communicated with if we'd needed it. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay, it's cleanliness and location."
