"All was good!"

"The staff are very accommodating and professional. The atmosphere was amazing with two fire pits outside and an electric fireplace in each room. Centrally located in Sister Bay with a 20 minute drive to any other locations. Definitely will be back next year. Lodge is quite even with families having the option of bringing their dog with. I didn’t hear any dogs barking the entire time we were at the lodge."

"The rooms were very cute and the stay was pleasant. Very close to all the stops we had planned on our trip and a great amenity was the snacks available at any time."

"The room was clean but the rooms were outdated. I like antique furniture but the dresser wouldn't open, the tub was not conducive for anyone with disabilities. If you were overweight or over 6 ft, you would not be able to turn in the shower."

"Overall, this is a gem. A few updates needed, like better mattress, coffeemaker that takes less than 30 minutes to make a pot, faucet changes."

"Breakfast was mostly unhealthy. Lots of calories and grease. For those of us who try to eat healthy they could provide hot oatmeal(not the instant packets) and more cold cereals. Pastries were really sweet; there are plainer healthier pastries like muffins. Staying in a cottage it would be nicer to have real coffee cups not the Styrofoam. At least for the cottages. Have to say I was disappointed with the pool. Guess I was expecting a real pool"

"I immediately noticed a strong mildew/mold odor upon arrival. We adjusted the AC and left for dinner - figuring it would help. Upon returning at 8:30 I decided to ask the front desk for a new room- they were booked so that wasn’t an option for us. They offered us two choices - I could either have a dehumidifier placed in the room or find another hotel if I didn’t feel comfortable due to my allergies. Based on it being 8:30 at night and busy season I didn’t feel like I had a choice other than...

"The mattress was excellent. The room was clean except for the floor corners. The room air conditioner was efficient, but a little on the loud side."

"Claudia at front desk and other staff that were on the days we stayed at the Motel were outstanding! They accommodated our needs without hesitation and were very pleasant and professional. Gas fire in evening was very appreciated, having the option to sit at the bonfire by the water was a bonus! Areas to sit outside were perfect and we were able to enjoy the waves, and peace of the lake; THE BEST part of the stay. Had we stayed longer we would have enjoyed the pool, bikes and kayaks! (For...
