"The hotel room was large with great views but there were quite a few broken things, including the shower head and fireplace. Also the front desk seemed overwhelmed due to the fully booked weekend and so it was hard to get help. No towels at the pool and after calling we were told someone would be in with towels when things slowed down but eventually the pool was closing and we had to walk dripping back up to our room. I think they were understaffed for such a busy weekend but I probably wouldn’t...

"Lesson learned. Booked a 2 night stay for 4 of us. We checked in and although I booked a 4 bed private room they set us up in a 3 bed room. Our 4th person ended up not being able to make it so that worked out. But we did pay for the larger room despite not receiving one. In addition the whole house was completely trashed, fridge full to the brim with items and a rancid stench. We couldn’t use any of the communal space at all and we’re pretty much ostracized to our room only. I assume because...
