"Tara Lodge is an exceptional boutique hotel. Located in leafy Queen’s University neighborhood, the hotel is unobtrusive and quiet. The beautiful rooms have tall windows that fill the space with light. The beds are super comfortable. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Botanical Avenue, half a block away, is lined with restaurants, pubs, and shops. We didn’t have a car, but Tara Lodge has a private car park, indispensable if you’re driving.

"Where to start - I was clearly looking warm and tired upon my arrival so the staff made sure my room was ready early so I could settle in and freshen up. I asked for directions to the nearest shopping precinct only to be told it was a little too far to walk to on such a hot day, but a member of staff would be happy to drive me there. "Ideal location, a few minutes walk from Grand Central Station in one direction and the main high street in the other. This is really good if you want to use one of early morning excursions from City Hall.
Reception staff are always pleasant and really helpful, we arrived early and were able to drop our bags meaning we could make the most of our time before checking in.
Only downside to our stay was that day to day housekeeping left a little to be desired."
