"I stayed here because I was going to an event at the convention center and wanted to stay close by. Seeing homeless people on the street was unnerving because where I come from there are none. However, before I got to the hotel I read reviews that the breakfast was complimentary. IT'S NOT. They have a restaurant that serves breakfast but you have to pay for it. The only time I ate at any of their restaurant was the last night I was there. I ordered a burger with fries for $25 and was surprised that the bill came up to $34. When I looked at it, they had a $1 benefit tax (whatever the crap that is) + they automatically added $5 for a tip + the regular tax. This was ridiculous to me but I didn't feel like creating a fuss so I just paid it and left. However the burger and the fries were delicious and the burger was big. It was not a fast food sloppy burger. Also, some sites say that they have an alarm clock in the rooms but they don't. They do give wake up calls though. When i got there they didn't have the complimentary bathrobe available but they gave me one the next day. Also I told them that I was a tea drinker and they provided me with an electric kettle. That was surprising and nice to me because I didn't know they had that. They also have some good flavored teabags and not just your regular black tea bags. They also provided me with other things that I asked for. The staff was accommodating so that's why I gave this hotel a high mark. I would stay here again."

"Beautiful hotel, rooms are really small but overall design and view still well worth the price! Will definitely be back. Having access to Level 8 was also a huge perk! Party all night long!! Great place to visit, but if you’re looking for quiet this is not the place. The music is going until 2am, so if you’re trying to have quiet sleep, not going to happen. I loved it because I was there to party!! Great drinks, great staff, and delicious food!"

"Have stayed a bunch of times at IHG DTLA, the security, friendliness and cleanliness are some of the reasons of returning. The guests I found at IHG DTLA can sometimes be the problem, they seem to be in a hurry and yet they are in a Hotel, so its a distraction but it doesn't take away from the Hotels experience 5 stars, I personally looked for a longer stay but at this time the prices were a tad high.....shout out to Angel and all the front desk squad, very professional"
