"Stayed at clayton hotel for 5 nights. Rooms were aged and poorly maintained! There was a consistent public toilet smell in my room. The cups and cutlery left in my room were unclean. While parking is available, it is €14 per day. Breakfast was honestly really poor. The hot options were limited. Had dinner at the hotel once too and that was just as bad. Reasonable place to stay near the airport for a night. Any longer than that you are better off finding a better hotel slightly further out!"

"The first impression was from the shuttle driver who didn't seem to care about his schedule, and showed up in a rental van with the hotel name typed - any one could do that!
He offered little help or advice. That set us off with poor check in and confusing trip trying to find our room.
The good news is our checkout and return shuttle driver were the exact oppositec. They could not been any better."

"I only used the room for one night and stayed at this hotel for its location and easy access to the airport. The room was very basic but clean. The only staff I saw was the one who checked me in. I had free use of wifi. Some rooms near the parking lot may be noisy but the availability of parking was nice and it was free. There are no elevators so if you have luggage or challenges with stairs request a ground floor room."

"Such a unique experience. Beautiful place. This was the castle the Knights of Templar used until Henry VIII took it when he created the Church of England and took all Catholic Church holdings. Much different than when they had it, if course, but a cool little tidbit."

"Our stay here was great, the only inconvenience was that their shuttle stops at midnight and our flight was delayed so we had to get a cab there. However, the hotel itself was wonderful. So if you're traveling during times that their shuttle is running, I would recommend staying here."
