Wish I could say differently...

An absolutely wonderful B&B Owner, but cluttered in the extreme and an over abundance of irrelevant amenities. Don’t really need all those choices of shower stuff. I’m sorry, but advise check and double check costs of breakfast. $30 breakfast surprise for 1 person! Costs such that next trip it’s back to 3 and 4 star hotel closer to Dublin and things to do and see for same price ... which isn’t a bargain at all. Wish I could say differently ... because the owner is so nice ... but I travel so much I know when I’ve been had!

Die bisherigen Ratings waren überwiegend positiv und Dublin selbst ausverkauft. Insgesamt war unsere Erfahrung jedoch leider insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund Preis Leistung absolut negativ. Untergebracht in einem hinteren Cotton, dunklem Zimmer, Mikrobad, furchtbarem Raumspray und keinem Room Service. Frühstück war ok und reichhaltig wurde jedoch bei einem Basispreis von bereits 245 E pro Nacht on top mit ca. 18 E berechnet. Aus unserer Sicht eine absolute Enttäuschung.

不算是酒店，是个大house，在都柏林的郊区，离飞机场开车有1小时的路程，离都柏林大学公交有30min的路程，到市区有1小时的路程。房主很热情，房间很干净，免费wifi，有烤箱，餐具，锅，烧水壶。外面还有小花园。不提供早餐，15欧每人，早餐很丰富。房主还免费给我们换了房间，出行还借给我们公交卡。只是最后算钱的时候有点模糊，多给了一些，就当是小费吧，总体还是很好的。

Accueil chaleureux, excellent petit-déjeuner

Accueil extrêmement chaleureux. Hôtes très serviables et attentionnés. Chambre impeccable, aucun reproche à formuler. Petit déjeuner fantastique, à la carte, excellent jus de fruit fraîchement pressé, généreux plateau de fruits rouges, porridge "maison", oeufs brouillés..... tout était délicieux et frais. J'y retourne dans 2 semaines avec toute la famille.

Overnight stay after dropping my wife to airport exceptional b/b very friendly welcome facilities very good, a huge amount of information on nearby tourist spots route directions was provided a lot of it manually photocopied . Beware you must put Blackrock not Dublin into your sat nav otherwise you are directed to an address on the north side of Dublin

Very nice B&B.

Stayed on a Saturday night 8th August. Had ironman event next morning so just wanted a quiet room. Despite this b&b being in a busy and built up area in was! So got a nights sleep. I checked out before 5am did not have breakfast so I can't comment.A little pricey but dublin is expensive.

Amazing hosts who think of everything

It was difficult to find without using the nav coordinates, but that's Ireland/Dublin, not the B & B. Once I arrived, Liam spent quite a bit of time with me making sure I was ready for everything I needed to get done - and there was a lot! When I dropped my rental off at the airport, he met up with me and picked me up and brought me back to the B & B. The room was extremely comfortable and well stocked, with lots of little touches that I found very helpful. The location, while not particularly close to city center, was safe and comfortable. And travelling into the city was an easy bus ride. Great place to stay!

I loved staying here!

The proprietors are excellent and made me feel welcome, safe, and a bit entertained as well! Breakfast fruit was fantastic - fresh blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries and red currants- in March! The rest of the food was equally wonderful and I also received perfect advice for getting around Dublin.

A real gem

our stay was for 1 night but we wished it was for longer.We received a great welcome and a full explanation of the location of everything both in the house and the locality. great facilities in Brookville and great service . As a family run guesthouse the attention to detail is impressive and the breakfast was really good. We will stay there again in the future .

Friendly fun spot convenient to bus service

Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed the use of the hot tub area. It was conveniently located for bus service into the city.

I found the cost of the stay somewhat expensive for the quality of the property. It was the first time that I was required to pay extra for breakfast at at bed and breakfast facility.

Friendly bed and breakfast

Liam and Dei who run the Brookville bed and breakfast could not have been more helpful with detailed instructions how to get to the bed and breakfast and information about using the buses and where to eat. We stayed 4 nights in a triple room with our daughter. The house is set in a nice garden and is quiet. The rooms were comfortable with good WiFi and TV coverage. The place is about 30 minutes by bus from the center of Dublin. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Dei and Liam were brilliant, made us feel veery welcome. They were very helpful and had information about all the nearby tourist attractions. The rooms were compact but had everything you needed, they would also allow you to order in takeaway and provided cutlery etc to do this.
