"I’d taken a while to look for a property for our trip which was a Christmas present for my husband. I liked the idea of an older, characterful place to stay which is why I eventually settled on no31. From the photo’s I believed the hotel and rooms would most likely be Georgian with high ceilings and large windows but unfortunately this wasn’t the case. Our room (no 10) was on what appeared to be a basement level. It had low ceilings, was quite dark and was right next to the main entrance which...

"A great place to stay . The staff were great . I recommend the breakfast . Close to everything. We all had a great stay. Thank you :)"

"The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast."

"Very friendly welcome from the host. Room was very comfortable, fresh and clean. Well located if (like me) you are on an airport stop over, 15 minutes on the bus or quicker by taxi. Decent pub a minute away. If you're off early (like me) you can help yourself to breakfast."
