The room was very old. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever tried. The pillows were too big and tall. We would run out of hot water very quickly. You can hear everything around but you can’t help that. The apartment is in the middle of everything and walking distance from the best places but the property was ok.

Appartement fonctionnel mais humide. Pas de ventilation dans la salle de bain, la douche avait un bon jet d’eau mais l’eau s’écoulait difficilement, nous terminions notre douche avec de l’eau aux chevilles. La toilette mériterait d’être rénovée. Le matelas du lit et les oreillers pas très confortables. De plus rien n’indiquait dans l’annonce que l’appartement se situait dans une petite rue avec beaucoup de marches.

Apartment was in the heart of old town. Walkable to everything. Host was great and very communicative. 30 minute bus to airport ~20 euro round trip with pick up and drop off at the Pile gate at the entrance of old town. Must be able to do lots of stairs to stay here though. (See photos). Many restaurants and cafe within minutes of walking distance. Great restaurant at the top of the steps (photo included). Don’t overpack. Washer in the unit. Clean apartment. Host will send you check in instructions day before your check in.

We booked 6 nights at the Minerva Apartments, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The check-in process was very smooth, and while we initially had some issues with the toaster not being clean along with only one teacup in the kitchen, the unit manager responded immediately and delivered new cups and cleaned the toaster for us. The kitchen is small but allowed us to eat several meals in the apartment. The washing machine was broken prior to our arrival (likely by previous guest) and was not available during our stay, but this was OK as we had done laundry in our previous rental in Split. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was good too. The windows opened to allow a breeze through the apartment in the evening. The hills and stairs in Dubrovnik are a challenge, and I would not recommend this for anyone with mobility issues, but we got used to the daily climb from the main street up to the apartment.

A lovely little apartment just off the main steet. You can tell the apartment is well cared for, was clean and tidy with almost everything you need. The only things we found missing were a tea towel and perhaps a few kitchen items but its so handy to have tge kitchenette to make hots drinks and basic food etc. We'd happily stay here again as a host myself I can be quite fussy but the owners really have maximised this little unit. The washing machine is handy for longer stays and the location is just so handy. Would be 6 stars for value if we could!

Excellent location. About as close to all the activity as can be and yet a quiet space at night. Cozy space - but certainly enough room for a couple. Definitely some stairs to climb - bear that mind if you have issues or really heavy luggage. I'd gladly stay here again.

Apartment was a nice size with a separate bedroom. Besides a small cooktop and refrigerator, there was a clothes washing machine(but no detergent), kettle and microwave. Other reviews meant we were well aware of the stairs leading to the property so no surprises there.

I would have scored the property higher if a few small things were addressed, such as more information regarding how to use the facilities (e.g. Turning the hot water service on before a shower!), and if they bought new pillows and towels. It felt like I was drying myself with a 20 year old tea towel and sleeping on a pillow stuffed with socks. It's a good location and the apartment is a great size.

Great perfect location. Has everything you need. Super great host and clear easy instructions and communication. Be aware of steps in old town to get to apartment they are high and plentiful. Also ration your hot water and watch the tank meter.

Muy buen apartamento. Limpio y con todo lo necesario. Eché de menos una escoba y que retiraran la basura algún día (estuve 4 noches allí). Muchas escaleras para llegar, pero Dubrovnik es así, con escaleras pero precioso.

We Loved The Location

The apartment was located closer [but still several steps down] to the top of the steps. It was very clean. The water pressure was excellent. The water heater would run out of hot water ... so my suggestion is to wet down, soap up, and then rinse off ... and then there was plenty of hot water. Pack light. You will definitely get your daily steps in seeing the sites of Dubrovnik.

Great location inside Old City Dubrovnik! Be advised if your are hauling heavy luggage...you wil get a great workout schlepping up and down many stairs. Comfortable 1-bedroom apartment with mini-frig, microwave, toaster, water kettle, dishes. We would stay again.
