My check in was not smooth. I received several messages via hotels.com that I confirm my arrival time which I indeed responded to with confirmation of 2pm arrival. The morning of my arrival, I asked the receptionist of my other hotel to call the numbers provided in the message for my arrival time since it seemed that my messages via hotels.com were not being read/received by the owner. However the owner did not answer and the agency listed reported that they no longer are responsible for this property. They did give me a different phone number for the owner which was incorrect. The receptionist helping was fortunately persistent and tried the first phone for owner again and communicated with her that I would arrive to property at 2’pm. Then when I arrived the owner told me “ I didn’t know your arrival time until this morning” so I am not sure why she does not utilize message system through your website for communication . It was very stressful and inconvenient . If my receptionist was not so persistent, I would have been locked out for unknowable amount of time. This is the second property I booked in Dubrovnik on your site that does not have a receptionist, is basically a home with extra rooms that are used for guests. This should be made more clear in your website because both were very bad experiences for me as far as check in and communication with the owner. I use an eSIM for my phone for internet use internationally however I am unable to make phone calls

The location is great. There are some stairs to get to the property and then to the rooms but it is not excessive. Good air conditioning and quiet when you shut the windows. Feels safe but also very convenient location.

Nice, clean rooms. So close to the old town, you're right by Pile Gate. Great view of the town from the room too. Host was super helpful on arrival and understanding of our late flight in. Highly reccomend!

The location was great. The room and furnishings were very basic. The "terrace" and "garden" were dirty, and unwelcoming. There was a big piece of broken metal left out there and old deflated balloons lying around.

The location is the real highlight of this property. Don't actually think there is a residence closer to the Pile gate, the main gate into the old town. All the buses stop at this gate. Room is very nice - clean and functional and everything you need for a few days. Even the small sewing kit you get in hotels that was on the landing was a nice touch when my bag broke and we had to repair it! View from the windows in the triple room unbeatable. There IS noise from the road and the old town (cleaning, church bells) overnight and early hours due to nature of old buildings and fully opening windows and shutters but this is mild and wouldn't actually wake you if already asleep and to be honest I wouldn't change that for the ability to fully open the windows and enjoy the climate and see that view for anything!! Would definitely stay here on my next trip back to Dubrovnik.

Lovely room in amazing location

We loved our stay. Book the sea view room if you can. Lovely view. Very comfy king bed with high ceilings. Excellent location right next to old town gates. Great value and friendly host.

Tea was more that helpful and went out of her way to accommodate us. We also enjoyed chatting with her.The room was clean and spacious. The public parking by the hotel was expensive but were given option to a cheaper site further away.

We had a lovely stay at this property. Owner was friendly and accommodating, and the location was much better than staying within the city walls. Highly recommend!

Stayed in the triple room. Good proper double bed, super clean, airconditoning works. Small fridge & kettle. Great location next to old town. As it is an old building, soundproofing is not very good and the area is noisy during night.

ピレ門からすぐの場所にあり観光に大変便利です。 入口まで階段がある為、重い荷物を持って昇るのは少し大変でした。 バスタブ付の部屋がありますが、お湯の量に制限があるので貯めることはできません。 オーナーは大変親切でした。
