Nice stay at a very conveniently placed and extremely good value for money property. Bed and shower were both very good. The 10 am checkout was slightly earlier than we were used to as prefer 11 am but we were able to leave our bags so not a major issue. Very happy with our choice overall.

These apartments are an amazing oasis in the hustle & bustle of Pile Gate & Old Town Dubrovnik. The units are immaculate & appear recently renovated & modern, yet are decorated with Croatian charm. The owners are exceptional & made our stay so convenient & comfortable.

Arrived to a friendly welcome. Fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Being in a small side street meant that it was quiet at night. Our room was a comfortable size for the two of us. A clever use of space. The air con was appreciated. There are a number of steps up to the property, so beware of this when carrying a case. But it should be noted there are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik. You cannot avoid them. It is a small price to pay to be able to stay in the heart of the city.

A acomodação é agradável e está a poucos passos do buza bar, assim como da jesuit stars. Possui pouca iluminação no quarto, não tem talheres, apenas taças e copos, seria interessante ter talheres, alguma prateleira dentro do box para apoiarmos nossos itens de banho e um dispenses com sabonete, ao invés de entregar itens em miniatura que acabam rápido. Estava bem sujo ao lado das mesas de cabeceira e é possível ouvir todo o barulho do quarto de cima, pois o teto é de madeira.

The room was charming and clean The bed very comfy. The stairs to access the bathroom are a bit narrow but we got use to it. It was very convenient to be in the old town and we are glad we chose The Sweet house for our stay. Dino was there to welcome us at the gate and help us with the luggage . He also has great knowledge of the city and provided with facts as we walk to the house.

Beautiful and centric room with the nicest host

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly, smiling, and attentive staff who were always available on WhatsApp for any questions. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the Old Town. Our room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was equally roomy, and the cozy décor made us feel right at home every time we returned. One of the highlights was the small balcony attached to our room — it truly was the cherry on top! Enjoying breakfast there, surrounded by the beautiful old town architecture, made our stay even more special. As if the experience wasn't already perfect, the host surprised me with a bottle of homemade wine as a birthday gift! I have no idea how they knew, but this thoughtful gesture exceeded all expectations. It was such a lovely touch. I also really appreciated the convenience of being able to leave our luggage after checkout — a small but meaningful perk. If I were to offer any small piece of advice, it would be about the noise. You can hear footsteps and conversations from neighboring rooms, which might be a consideration for light sleepers. Additionally, there are several steps to climb to reach the house and the rooms, which could be a challenge for those with mobility concerns. For us, neither of these things were an issue, but it's worth noting. Overall, this is an absolutely amazing place to stay in Dubrovnik — we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Loved this place! Everything was wonderful. Great communication & they even coordinated transportation from the airport to the room. They had someone meet us at the Ploce gate to walk us to the room. It was tucked away and very quiet, but still right there in the heart of Old Town. We will definitely be staying there again!
