"We had to wait 2 1/2 to 3 hours for our room to be cleaned so we could check in. They offered to cancel our reservation with a full refund but got the rooms finally cleaned in time for us to check in with a 15% discount. We will see if my credit card is issued a refund… All other amenities were fine. Seems there is a lot of water damage in many different areas of the hotel. The interior pool and spa seemed nice. Staff at the buffet were GREAT. Buffet breakfast was pretty good."

"Traveled with my daughter to tour Duke University. This hotel was a bit far from the airport (25 mins) and was not super close to shopping. But, we were able to drive to everything within 15 mins. However, the price was fantastic and the front desk staff were amazing and made our stay memorable. Thank you for everything!!!"

"We stayed 3 nights in a king suite. The walls were paper thin- I could hear someone in the room beside ours clearing their throat. At night, I woke up hearing people in the other room beside ours enjoying their alone time... and they weren't being unreasonably loud about it. The bed was painful- it was a very thin mattress on a platform and had no cushion or give at all. The couch was more comfortable, and even that wasn't great. I guess this is an older location. I heard one of the front desk...

"Every staff member that I encountered was friendly, informed, and helpful. The sandwich, burger, and fries we ate from the bar were perfectly cooked, tasty, and delicious! The room was very comfortable, TV was capable of stream casting from our devices. The only addition that I’d suggest would be a night light in the restroom."
