"Stayed here during FIFA and Alex Warren, the staff were incredibly friendly and helped us looked for amenities and things to do around Granville. We came here for our 5th anniversary together and we had so much fun! There so much to do around the area and everyone was so incredibly friendly! Highly recommend staying here! Would not recommend driving around, the streets were packed, we used the aqua bus and walking around to get around so we didn’t have an issue with parking or driving."

"Only stayed one night as a layover. Appreciated the very spacious room and extra hour until checkout. The dining options are very limited and the hotel is quite isolated so hard to go elsewhere to eat. However, we enjoyed our drinks and a light meal at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant as well and breakfast in the Chairman’s Lounge was good and reasonably priced."

"The history and location of the Sylvia Hotel make it a very charming venue. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant remains very good. The views are delightful. It always feels like a genuine holiday when I stay at "the Sylvia", even if I'm working. I love being able to walk to Stanley Park, along the English Bay beach and it's all just a block or so from a very diverse cross-section of shops and dining."
