"We stayed in an economy room with kitchenette. All of the dishes and pots and pans were provided and were nice and clean. When we checked in we were supposed to have a 1st floor room, but the clerk noted that we would have a better ocean view from the second floor and there was a room available so he moved us. We ended up having to extend our stay, and they were wonderful about providing additional towels and toilet tissue. The beach view was somewhat obstructed from palm trees, but it was still nice, and the walk down to the beach was very easy from the pool area. The pool, river and hot tub were very nice. We used the laundry and it was OK. There is a gift shop on the property that was nice, and the restaurant on the property was very good. I would definitely stay there again!"

"This was my first stay at Island Vista. My friend and I had a 2 bedroom 2 bath standard suite. It was beautiful and looked brand new from the kitchen appliances, sofa and chairs, to the showers! We were in room 808 and had a stunning oceanfront view of the ocean. The staff was friendly, too. I hope to be able to return!"
