We stayed here for a couple of nights when riding the train. It's a nice hotel. They're in the process of updating it. The ice machine didn't work and we had to walk to the hotel next door for ice. I felt so sorry for the young woman at the front desk because people were complaining and one man was rude, but it wasn't her fault. Plus, she was several months pregnant. It was a minor inconvenience in my opinion and we're planning to stay here again next year. We walked to the train and restaurants/shops were within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.
The staff were nice. Would have been nice to know that the pool was going to be closed at our hotel during our stay. They did let us use the hotels pool across the street. Our room still had trash in the closet from a previous guest. The fridge in the room did not get cold enough so food we bought had gone bad during our stay.
The lady who worked hard everyday, Brandie, to keep everyone fed in the morning did an excellent job.
The other staff were very responsive to our needs.
The room had no bathroom amenities, lotion, etc.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Really charming hotel. Very friendly staff across the board - we interacted the most with Pablo, John, and Brandi
Clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast needs more veg/vegan options. Pet friendly hotel and unfortunately people let their dogs go anywhere and don’t pick it up. Need to watch for “landmines”.
The housekeeping staff were so sweet. We love the staff and seeing them year after year (like John).
We were unhappy with the people below us complaining about every little thing (first time ever for us anywhere). Brandon handled it the best he could. Hoping that family will show a more exclusive resort. We love how dog and family friendly this location is. We are already booked again!
We really enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and the kitchen very practical and clean.
The hotel is a bit outdated but overall clean and the staff was very friendly.
