"After checking in went to the room which was around the back and found a dozen or so construction workers sitting on tailgate to trucks with loud music blasting. Called the office I said you have a party going on in the back they said I don't have a party going on anywhere and hung up on me. Call back again and they hung up on me again. "This historic B&B has such charm, especially when you enter the building. It is in the country, and the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. It is located about a 10 minute drive to New Hope. The breakfast is wonderful. The staff members are friendly and welcoming. We had a couple of issues in our room and they were taken care of within minutes of informing them. If the B&B isn’t busy, you can park close to the building, otherwise, the parking is up an incline and away from the building. "

"I would have given 5 stars but the alarm went off at 6 am. I thought I turned it off but then it went off again. I called the front desk to find out how to turn it off and no one picked up. Alarms should be turned off my housekeeping so guests can Allie and retaken by previous guests alarms. It’s not right."

"Most of the amenities were not available. The Swimming pool was out of order, ice machine out of order, gym equipment not good, there were only dumbbells and no other machines that were versatile. Other than that quiet area, able to nicely rest and clean suite. The heating / cooling system was also good. "

"Unfortunately we missed breakfast (didn’t realize the time) and the staff member wasn’t nice about it. Other than that, place was clean minus renovations. We will definitely stay there again."

"Great place to stay. Away from it all but close enough to New hope, Lumberton, Lambertville and frenchtown. Peddlers village is just 10min away. Rooms are exceptionally clean as is the property. It's right on the Delaware River. Great views. Nice bar in on site. Nice little breakfast in the morning is included"

"The hotel was garbage, but the young man Adam at the front desk was wonderful. He was trying to do his best to help us out. The room was mediocre. There was no air conditioning. There was no plug in the bathtub for the kids to have a bath. There are no toothbrushes at the front desk. Ice machine was broken. The voice was a piece of garbage."

"Parking lot was attended by ed ,who ive met before . Ed is a very welcoming and courteous valet ,igot out of my uber and he greeted me "welcome back miss,nice to see you again" its been almost 5 months since my last visit ,its nice being remembered."
