"Very nice, especially for long stays!"

"Elevator was broken. Vending machine wouldn’t work. Very tiny rooms. Blinds in the window didn’t help. There was an outdoor light right outside our window and even with the blinds fully closed the room was lit up very bright at night. Decent breakfast in the morning. Would not stay here again."

"Room was poorly maintained. Price was ridiculous for the quality. Tub and shower were in bad shape. Breakfast was poor and coffee was terrible. We used the stairs a couple times and there were spider webs all over. Not maintained at all. The pullout had no linens. Had to request those. Only towels for 2 people. Reserves for 3. Staff were friendly but overall will not return."

"My recent stay was extremely disappointing. The room was dirty upon arrival, and the bed was so uncomfortable that I barely slept. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit was leaking water throughout my stay, creating a mess in the room. The bathroom was unacceptable. The shower leaked the entire time and had stains. There wasn't even a new roll of toilet paper provided. Instead, there were two partially used rolls, and one of them appeared to have dried blood or feces on the remaining...

"Pos- Convenient location , clean room. Appreciated breakfast. Neg- Pool was closed and property could use a bit of sprucing up."

"Never again. Minimally maintained, smelled musty, towels yellowed and thin. Went to take a shower after a long day of driving to find no soap ANYWHERE in the room. Husband walked down to the desk. Young man shrugged stating he believed they were out of soap and manager out of town - but “he would look…” After waiting for 15 minutes and no response tried to call desk but no answer. Walked down to desk and told “sorry we are Out of soap.” (!!) Used shampoo on my body from the broken bottle...

"Carol fixed us delicious, variety-filled breakfasts. We were in a group of 6 and able to visit outside around a fire, on a porch or inside in large comfortable sitting rooms."

"I absolutely loved this historic hotel. It is beautifully remodeled, maintaining the integrity of the original architecture. Beautiful and comfy rooms. I loved the restaurant and bar. Trails nearby. Helpful staff. Will return."

"Lucked into this after catching Jamey Johnson at Renfro Valley. Typically spend twice as much to spend a night but certainly won’t be doing that when in this area again. Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet night, and hot shower in the morning. Checks all the boxes. You can book w/o hesitation."
