Decent-sized, comfortable room, the beer 'proper' Yorkshire, and the food was excellent throughout – we could have eaten almost amything on the quite extensive menu. "A wonderful, clean,air condtioned room and staff can be contacted 24/7 if any problems. Bed was very comfortable and being left a small bottle of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Parking was no problem at all in front of buillding. Did have any food but all looked lovely. Would definately recommend."

"The Dean Court is a charming boutique hotel that was completed in 1865 as Clergy residences for York Minster which the hotel is in the shadow of. Because you are staying in a heritage building there can be some charming challenges such as creaky floors and low clearance doorways. Despite that the positives far outweigh any challenges you may encounter. Everything is walkable from the Dean Court and there are several great pubs feet from your front door many of which offer a Sunday Roast menu....

"Personal choice but didn't like the evening menu choices and breakfast was good if poached eggs were cooked better. Mine still had the clear egg slime on them. Staff were brilliant even down to the housekeeping. Room we had was really lovely, modern and a good size. Lots of space in bathroom and a great shower. Free parking was a real bonus. Really enjoyed our weeks stay at golden fleece hotel"
