"This amazing hotel well surpassed our expectations. Beautifully modernised and equipped with quality fittings everywhere. Our stay coincided with some sunny hot weather so the outdoor pool, jacuzzi and bar facilities were in full use but still plenty of sun loungers and great service. "Positives - location perfect for exploring Exeter and The Quay. Bathroom was nice and more recently refurbished. Carpark was straightforward but you pay. Bar man very helpful, went out of his way to find some peppermint tea, very grateful. Staff were friendly but no one explained about the £10 pp charge to swim… we were simply told we could use the leisure facilities while we stayed.
