"This hotel is a good 10/15 minute walk from the airport. The reception/bar area reminded me of a youth hostel. Reception and check in was good, the lady was very professional and welcoming.. The hotel room was in dire need of an overhaul. The carpet had stains and white powder around the room and bed (I hoped it was carpet freshener). Bed mattress seemed clean and bathroom (like a caravan) smelt of bleach so as I was staying one night I didn’t complain. Room decor was as old as the building....

"Lovely little gem. The staff extremely pleasant and professional. Ella was courteous and helpful during breakfast, when I was declaring my allergies! Impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The only problem was another guest with his music on in the car at 7am (Sunday), for about 20 minutes before he decided to turn it off and go to his room. Luckily we were awake anyway. "Everything that we needed was available, and good breakfast. Plenty of space in garden twin room, and lighting very good for reading at night."

"Could only get BBC1 on the TV, all other channels were pixilated. There as no mirror by the dressing table. It was quite had to reach the taps to fill the bath as the shower screen wouldn’t move."
