Owner was very kind, personable, and immediately responsive, as well as extremely knowledgeable about the area and helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do. Chef's gourmet breakfast was AWESOME! Excellent accommodations and a great base for exploring Galveston Island."

"The pool was really hot, the drinks were super expensive and they don’t tell you they keep charging your card if you exceed the hold. Spent everyday fighting with them because of all the charges. They did fall off but holding money that wasn’t there’s. Make sure you just pay as you go and don’t charge to the room. Trip was ruined. "Beware of the huge cockroaches! We were packing our things up from a short overnight stay, and as we were we saw a cockroach that was about 3 inches long crawl up our curtain and another crawling towards the desk in the room. I’m completely sick. They have not emailed me back or anything after spending $250 for the night?! Disgusted to say the least."

"The location of the facility was great! However, the outside was dirty and run down especially for the price. Also, I called the front desk to let them know we would be gone all day but, we needed some clean towels and asked if someone could drop them off. I was told no. We stayed 2 days and only has enough for 1 day. The room had a weird smell when we first arrived. I mean it was an alright place but, definitely not worth the amount we paid."

"Description on property was not accurate. It had 1 and 1/2 bath. No TVs in room. Or radio . Pans were hard to cook on. Leaking in bedroom floors from restrrom. Only 1 usb on 1 lamp and not enough light in rooms. Also, no privacy in bedrooms since you have to walk through 1 bedroom to get to the other bedroom so if you are with another couple, it was hard to go to kitchen or take a shower withthe other couple still asleep or changing.
