"The front could do with a little face lift...what was advertised was the renovations at the back...our rooms were at the front
The breakfast was enough...didnt like others touching by bread though
The rooms were spacious and clean enough ..I did my usual cleaning
We had to put down a deposit of 400 pounds...which we were told would be refunded back to our a/c...we didnt receive everything back (short $21.16)...not sure if its the conversion from pounds back to Canadian dollars

"This place is little better than a youth hostel: unwelcoming, grim, dirty and unsafe. You would do better sleeping in a skip. There are no human beings involved in the entire process; all communication is through WhatsApp. Upon "registering" you are presented with a series of additional charges not mentioned on the booking site before "check-in".

"The staff were great. Really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Place was spotless. The kitchen was well enough equipped and the room was very well designed and thought out.
There are black out blinds but they are about 2 inches away from the window so weren’t entirely blacked out and ours broke on the last night. I also felt a bit exposed in bed because of the gap.

"The property was clean, as advertised for what to expect. But the best part of the property was being right across the street from the train station. Between Thameslink and Southern you’re 20-30 minutes from the City, basically anywhere in London was reachable in under an hour. You could get here from Heathrow in about an hour by train, which ends up way cheaper than an Uber."
