"The check-in was completely remote, and I did not speak to anyone checking in or checking out, so I cannot speak to the helpfulness of the staff. I chose this hotel because it was at Gatwick airport, so staying there gave me peace of mind that I would have no troubles being ready for my morning flight. I chose a small and functional room. It's not a room for hanging out or relaxing in, it's a place to sleep and wash up in, which is all I expected. The air conditioning worked well."

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Room was clean and tidy on check-in but because it was very hot the room had no AC but they supplied a fan that did nothing to keep it cool. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The bar was well stocked and had all the drinks I needed. Breakfast was delicious and being a vegetarian the vegan full breakfast even included my favourite vegan black sausage. We had dinner in the restaurant which excellent and the waiting staff were attentive."

"I booked a room for one night. I was allocated room 440. The room was unbearably hot and was uninhabitable as a consequence. Despite my protestations I was unable to move rooms and ended up having to sleep in the car. I ended up asking for a refund which is yet to be forthcoming. I am waiting to hear from the nanager"

"The hotel corridor was very dark, the room was dark, couldnt see to put key card in. Lighting in the room was bad. No light over unit where tea and coffee facilities were. Had to use my phone to see some light switches."

"Drunk male receptionist took ages to check us in , then given me a room I haven’t book . I have booked one family large room 145 - two green standing single beds and double bed room and I was given one double bed , one single and pull out of this bed to sleep on the floor type matrasse bed , when I questioned this he said that I was suppose to be told this when booked - nonsense I booked via this page with photos of the room - freestanding two single beds !!!"

"Me and my friend stayed here for the weekend, due to it having a private function we couldn't eat dinner in the dinner hall for one night but there was hot food available at the bar area which was lovely. The breakfast had an extensive range that was only let down by the dust on the window sills and the uncleaned salt & pepper trays on the tables. We hired the bikes at no extra cost and did a really nice tour of the grounds and surrounding forest. All staff go out of their way to be friendly and...

"The room was ok and staff were ok. The room was cleaned but not to a great standard. Car parking is good as there are loads of spaces. Windows aren’t sound proofed so unfortunately I had to listen to loud noise and music and loud cars outside until half 12 in the morning which isn’t great on an early start. I paid extra for breakfast on the 2 nights I stopped but unfortunately due to the size of the seating area and the hot plates the Q is massive and to small for the guests that are there and...
