"The property is dated, and there are some challenges. I was assigned a second floor room (I wasn't asked for a preference) and there is no elevator. However, a very kind cleaning person saw me struggling and carried my suitcase up for me, which was wonderful. Problems in addition to lack of elevator: 1) The key (the old-fashioned kind) didn't always work. 2) The room smelled musty and I had to launder all of the clothes I had brought when I got home, as they had taken on that musty smell. 3)...

"We enjoyed our stay here. It was a nice hotel with friendly staff. We found the printing station useful. The way the breakfast options were provided as individual meals that could be warmed up was fantastic! Yummy eggs and sausage meal! The room was so nice - huge and very comfy. Wish we'd had more than one night to stay here. Close to plenty of eateries, UMaine, convenience stores, etc."

"While we enjoyed the caretaker the property was not represented upon our booking that it would be in repairs/restoration during our stay. There was garbage and debri from the repairs/renovations all over the backyard which was visible from our room. There was garbage on the front porch and outside our room and an overgrowth of weeds (not native wild, just unattended walkway weeds) which took away from the BnB ambiance. There wasn't a blind in the window in the bathroom just sheer curtains...
