"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. UNACCEPTABLE. The service at both check-in and check-out was absolutely DISGRACEFUL. Extremely rude staff, zero courtesy, zero professionalism. I am a World of Hyatt member and stay at Hyatt properties frequently. I have NEVER been treated this badly. Not even close. This was by far the WORST experience I’ve had with the brand. I do NOT recommend this hotel. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, completely unacceptable and we had to request a room change immediately. The elevators were dirty and clearly not well maintained. But the most shocking part? The HORRIBLE attitude of the staff. Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level. I will NOT be returning to Hyatt Grand Central New York. Ever."

"Nice room and a good hotel. The $35 per day resort fee, in return for $35 that you can only spend at a very mediocre breakfast buffet or bar (I don’t drink) is very scammy and would stop me staying there again."

"Room ac gave out night 1 of my stay. Itchy sheets, bite marks. Portal AC was placed as a fix but it was just too noisy. Hotel has no water stations nor ice or any places to store food/beverages. First and last time there for my personal preference"
