"I have stayed at The Lombardy a number of times and my experiences are always good. Great location, immaculate public spaces and rooms. My only criticism would be the lack of warmth on the part of the staff. On a recent stay I exited and entered the hotel dozens of times, and on only 2 occasions did a doorman even acknowledge me (through a nod). Not once did the doormen offer to open the door, help with packages/luggage, etc. That said, the reception staff is warm and professional."
