This is a great hotel for the price point. It does not offer a lot of amenities, though a modest breakfast is included, but it does offer high value for a budget-minded hotel. Very easy on / off highway location. I want to give a special shout out to Ken at the front desk, who was super friendly upon arrival and then extremely helpful once I left an item in the room after I went home.

If your trying to save some money, there aren't maybe places that put on as good a show. The hotel is classicly dated. Tucked away just off some forever road construction in Stroudsburg PA. Minutes from main street (Gamers Edge )and the Pocono Cinema and Cultural Center (Great ice Cream and movie treats) The area has great diners within 15min but for the most part you'll have to hit main street for any night life as Stroudsburg is on Small town time. The Motel staff is on the ball if asked anything, while blending into background and leaving you to enjoy your stay. The wifi was a little janky at times but for a middle of nowhere Hotspot it held up to some heavy youtube watching. Clearly not a spot for online gameplay. (I didn't try to play online with my laptop) Overall it was a fine stay. Great savings. Would do it again if I'm in the area.

Disgusting property. Filthy carpeting, iuts shows clear and long term neglect. The room ite;f was not so bad- clean bathroom, bed seemed ok, but the carpeting was F I L T H Y. For SHAME Super8... the powers that be wouldnt spend any time in such conditions, so why should your customers? Breakfast is a JOKE!!!!!!! The coffee machie makes colored watr, horible pre packaged muffins and granola bars, the crappiest yogurt (its not yogusrt, it's modofied corn starch glop) on the market. Duunjkin is around the block thank god. Never again. I would not stay here again if it was for FREE.

Room 101 was very clean and well equipped. However, it WAS THE NOISIEST HOTEL ROOM I'VE STAYED IN OVER 45 YEARS !! Right off the Front Desk and Lobby. Do you think that everyone over 65 years old needs a handicapped room near the front desk? I don't - Noise was horrible, staff made it worse. I had to go out at MIDNIGHT and complain - Midight !!

The room was clean and in good order. The desk clerk checked me in quickly, with courtesy, and provided information regarding where things were on the premises. I live only a few miles away, booked the room last minute as my home heat was not working. I would have been delighted to find this level of accommodation if I had been traveling.
