"Wonderful experience. Hotel staff was above and beyond. Many choices at free breakfast. Place was clean and staff pleasant and helpful. Walking distance to everything downtown. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family."

"We had a three day weekend. Stay here for a child’s graduation. It was an absolutely wonderful time. Everything was top-notch. If anything was missing from the room, like the hairdryer, someone delivered it right away. All the concierge were very eager to help and make sure we enjoyed our stay. We definitely will be coming back."

"The Ambassador stay was a mixed bag. We went because we had tickets to the all day Metal show across the street. For the most part we just needed the room to sleep in. So far as that went, the room was clean and quiet so we had no issues with that. However We arrived back at the hotel post show at 10:40PM. We had been told (and it said it in writing) that the bar was open until midnight. When we walked in, the bartender said, "I already gave last call because I have somewhere to be." So...you provide an amenity. Tell customers your hours, (hours which are in writing by the way), and then fail to honor said hours thereby also failing to deliver upon an amenity YOU provide as part of the price of the hotel. No doubt the response will be "Sir, the bar is a luxury and not an amenity. Okay, then let's move to the Television. A television we learned was a smart tv that YOU (the customer) had to operate by logging in to YOUR (the customers) personal APP and somehow operating the TV that way. I suppose the response will be "We said a TV was provided and it was. The ability to watch it was not. You COULD watch it provided you log in from your own APP and do so. How many 60 year old couples have no such APP because we watch through a cable provider? Answer: a LOT. So, we could not get a drink at the bar despite hours clearly posted (in writing) and verbally delineated. We could not watch TV by turning on a TV set like most normal hotels. Senior Citizens. Stay away from this one"

"Rooms were nice sports bars were good .. but we had an incident regarding the loss of a purse with cash, credit cards and IDs in it and found the security within the hotel was well below the professional level .. and no "police" anywhere besides 1 car parked by the parking garage with no one around ! would hate to see if anything serious happened !"

"Great place to stay close to the city of Milwaukee. Plenty of free parking. The hotel and our room were very clean. We basically stayed there to sleep, but it does seem to have a restaurant and bar that looked nice. "

"The staff was fantastic the minute we walked through the door. The reception desk was extremely helpful and the woman running the breakfast area was very friendly and deficient We will be back"

The Iron Horse Hotel

"Unique hotel. The rooms are cool. There was no soap to wash your hands though. You had to get body wash from the shower. That was annoying. I’d still stay there again though."
