"Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. We didn’t use the spa due to only staying one night and the extra charge as booked through Expedia but if book direct, it’s included. Breakfast was £16.95 and worth it. Great choice. Lovely outdoor seating area. Beds comfy. Bathrooms good. Quiet location. All was good."

"I had a one night stay here for the summer solstice. The room was good, bed was nice the surrounding beautiful and serene, but the food was awful and exorbitantly priced. My order of salmon and 2 very small potatoes came in cold so I took it back. Well they warmed it for me but it got me wondering why it came cold in the first place. "The total has good amenities and a good gym. The food was ok. The hotel was let down by poor and inconsistent service. We were told that tables in the restaurant could not be booked in advance as that evening England were playing. This was confirmed by the person on reception, only to find that nearly all the tables has indeed been reserved when we went down to the restaurant with some of them standing empty for hours until the football started.
