"Rooms do not have individual temp controls in the suites. No comforter on the bed, just a very thin cover. I had to get out a throw blanket was stuffed in the closet. Cooking staff was blaring music in the kitchen at 5:45am and I could hear it clearly in my room. Only one staff person onsite when I checked in at 7:00pm, she was very nice couldn't show me to my room and my door code didn't work and had to walk back down the hill to the deck to get a new code. "I don’t think this room has ever seen a mop. The bathroom reeked of stale urine and the floors were sticky with, you guessed it, stale urine. "

"Had no trouble finding a good parking space the times I left and came back to the hotel. My room was very clean and welcoming. The bed was comfortable but not firm enough for me. But it was comfortable. The entire staff was excellent. From the checking in receptionist, housekeeper staff person, food service person, to the checking out receptionist. My overall experience was great. I would definitely stay again. 5 STAR all day. "

Hotel is close to recreation opportunities such as the Chief Ladiga Trail close to Jacksonville State University, and also the McClellan bike trails very convenient to local fast food restaurants and other food places a great value for the weekend, traveler, the recreation traveler, or the business traveler."

General Manager (Brian) made what has been a difficult time for our family less difficult when we had to unexpectedly extend our stay. This is a hidden gem and will be our go-to when we come back in from out of town."

"The front desk staff was very attentive. The housekeeping staff was asked to replace the towels we put outside our room with clean towels and they only took the dirty towels. The housekeeper I spoke to was not very responsive to me, just half nodded and walked away. When we arrived back at 9:00 pm we had to go back to the front desk for clean towels. We also had to ask for a blanket for the fold out sofa as only sheets were provided. "

"Wasn’t anything like I thought. We rebooked and the house keeper walked in on us and was rude she told us it was time to go and we stated we rebooked our room. She was extremely rude and unprofessional "

"this was pretty much exactly what you would expect. The only reason I can’t give the staff five stars is because the host was so clearly incredibly sick. I felt bad for her having to be there, but I also felt the need to stay as far away as possible and sanitize the key card she touched"
